To really get it, let's follow the refrigerant. The compressor squeezes the refrigerant gas, making it hot and high-pressure. It then goes to the condenser (the radiator-like part at the front of your car), where it cools down and turns into a high-pressure liquid. This is where our drier filter comes in. The liquid refrigerant enters the drier filter, and its journey through the internal components begins.

The internal design is key, and from a manufacturing standpoint, this is where things get tricky.
